The weekend in short form

Yesterday I went to church in the Cathedral of Sevilla. It is the 3rd largest in the world after the Vatican and St. Paul's in London. I loved the incense and being sprinkled with water.

When I left the Cathedral, I put on my headphones and listened to Relient K. Sounds a little weird, but it totally fit after church in a Cathedral.

I also went to Toledo on Friday and Saturday. It was great. We saw paintings by El Greco, the Cathedral of Toledo, a monastery, and we slept in a dark, dark, quiet hotel room and it was tremendous. (Obviously, since I took the time to type it here.)
Fun fact: In Toledo, there are at least twice as many dead people than alive people.
Bet you didn't know that.
I'm getting a little weary of blogging.

Ellen, I love the picture. It reminds me of that cheer picture I took of you your freshman year at Northwestern...It's just missing the rest of the cheerleaders. Please don't be weary of blogging. We love reading it. Love you!

I was getting worried about you! Don't get tired of blogging please. So I think you should search on YouTube for One Semester of Spanish-Spanish Love Song. John found it and it's pretty funny.

I understand blogging, which is why my xanga skills are slacking. But you could always try emailing or skype! ;)

Elena,
Hola from Springfield, Mo. I did get to kick the sand on the beach in Ft.Lauderdale last week and watch the moon over the Atlantic from the hotel room which made me think that you could never watch a sunrise over the Atlantic if you were in Portugal or Spain and you could never watch a sunset over the Atlantic in Florida. Blah Blah Blah. Sorry about that... As an alter boy years (and years) ago, I used to enjoy the Holy water and the incense at Mass which was probably similar to your catheral experience. I didn't have Reliant K to balance out the experience however, that's why I worship with the Lutherans now I guess. I understand your bloggers weariness but hope you can recover so we can continue to see Spain and you through your delighful prose and pictures. Keep it up, Love, Dad
