I have made it home safely. It's funny - I didn't realize how much Seville has become my home and Spanish my language until I left. It was so refreshing to be able to understand the language instead of relying on "Parlez-vous anglaise?" or even better in Italy: "English? Inglés?"
Seville, while I was gone, went all up-town and got a Metro system. Actually they've been working on it for months, but now it's open. Consequently, all the bus routes change. Meaning that I need to think before I go anywhere now.
Last night was lovely - I slept in my own bed in a room all by myself for the first time since I left the States. I was so tired! This morning I had comfort food for breakfast - tea, toast with strawberry jam, and two cookies. I'm glad I came back a day early.
